The results of the inspections of two more legal entities associated with the famous Odrex private hospital in Odessa may be made public within a week. According to the information of editorial sources in the Ministry of Health, during inspections, the regulator’s commission recorded deviations from licensing requirements, which UNN does not report, but they refer to both licensees.
The results of inspections of the legal entities of the Odrex private hospital Odrex LLC and Center of Medicine LLC may be published by the Ministry of Health within a week. Both LLCs are mentioned in a number of criminal proceedings for alleged fraud, misappropriation of patient funds and inappropriate treatment.
According to the letter of the Prosecutor General’s Office dated 18.12.2025, by the order of the Ministry of Health, a commission was formed for conducting unplanned measures of state supervision (control) regarding compliance by business entities with the requirements of the legislation in the field of economic activity on medical practice subject to licensing, the limited liability company “Medical House “Odreks” and the limited liability company “Center of Medicine”, the period of work of which is from 06 to 08 January 2026
– said in the response to the request.
According to editorial sources at the Ministry of Health, during out-of-hours inspections of legal entities of the Odrex hospital for compliance with licensing conditions, the commission found violations of the provisions of the legislation in the field of medical activity in both legal entities. Currently, the regulator is processing the results of inspections.
In the event that the regulator revokes the licenses of Odrex Medical House LLC and Medicine Center LLC, Odrex Hospital will become almost the only private hospital in Ukraine that has had three medical licenses revoked. Since, according to the results of the last inspection of Medical House LLC, the legal entity of the hospital that appears in the case of the death of patient Adnan Kivan, the license was revoked due to the refusal of the hospital administration to provide the members of the commission with the necessary information for the inspection documentation.
Shuffling LLC Odrex As reported UNN previously, the Odrex private hospital was actually registered as several legal entities, which are related to each other by the founders and the business address. Some of them have already been mentioned in criminal proceedings opened based on the statements of relatives of deceased patients and persons who consider themselves victims of treatment at Odreks Hospital. At the moment, there are at least seven criminal proceedings in which companies related to Odrex are mentioned.
Another Odrex LLC – trying to get a new license? In addition, the editors UNN it became known that the beneficiaries of the Odrex hospital at the end of 2025 registered another enterprise – LLC “MDO Pivden”. So far, the new legal entity of the hospital has not submitted documents for obtaining a medical license, the Ministry of Health notes in response to a journalist’s request from the editorial office.
However, in view of the critical situation in which the hospital may find itself in case of cancellation of two more licenses, attempts to intensify the issue of obtaining a new medical license through another legal entity should not be rejected. Moreover, a possible conflict of interests has repeatedly appeared in this story. Earlier, journalists reported that the CEO of Odrex, Tigran Harutyunyan, is a member of the working group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the development of private medicine, headed by Minister Viktor Lyashko.
Under such circumstances, the public, families of deceased patients and people who consider themselves victims of treatment at Odrex are closely watching the regulator’s decisions, because any steps to issue new licenses in this case can become an indicator of real impartiality and integrity of state control.
