As TechCrunch writes, Google, as it turned out, does not meet these requirements. Indonesia’s industry ministry said this week that the company’s phones cannot be sold in the country until they meet regulations.
“Local content regulations and related policies are designed to be fair to all investors investing in Indonesia, as well as to create added value and deepen the structure of the industry,” says Ministry of Industry spokesman Febri Hendry Antony Arief.
