Norway will allocate 2.7 billion kroner ($242.38 million) to strengthen Ukraine’s naval forces and help deter Russian naval forces in the Black Sea. Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Har Støre announced this on Monday, reports UNN with reference to Reuters.

“It is necessary to protect the population of Ukraine and the Ukrainian infrastructure from the attacks of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia,” Styore said.

“It is also important to protect the export of grain and other products by sea, which bring Ukraine the most important income,” he added.

Addition

As reported in British intelligence, the overall pace of Russian naval operations in the Black Sea remains low thanks to the successful actions of Ukraine.

Norway plans to continue the training of Ukrainian pilots and technical personnel on F-16 fighters in Portugal.
