Norway will extend its aid package to Ukraine until 2030, increasing the total amount to 135 billion kroner, Prime Minister Jonas Haar Støre said.

The Scandinavian country has already pledged 22 billion kroner in military and civilian aid this year, with an additional 5 billion going to “important civilian needs,” the Norwegian prime minister said, as quoted by AFP.

In February 2023, the Norwegian parliament approved a multi-year support program for Ukraine worth NOK 75 billion ($7.3 billion).

NOK 75 billion will be provided over the five-year period 2023-2027, i.e. NOK 15 billion annually, plus an additional one-year aid in 2023 of NOK 5 million to developing countries affected by the global effects of war.
