“The caliber of the North Korean analogue of the jet system is still unknown.”, – WRITE: www.unian.ua
The caliber of the North Korean analogue of the jet system is still unknown.

According to “militaristic”, the analogue of the American reactive system of the Himars volley fire was shown in the DPRK at the parade.
The relevant photos were posted by the Korean Central Information Agency (KCNA). It is noted that the starting unit is located on the three -sided cargo chassis of the unknown model, with two triggers.
“Militar” points out that the exact caliber of the jet system is still unknown, but there are two separate “packages” in detail: 9 guides, probably for 240 mm missiles, and nearby – for ballistic missile, possibly Hwasong 11.
Another installation of the same type has a “package” of probably 122 mm missiles up to 20 in guides.
“So Pyongyan demonstrated a direct analogue of the American system – both in terms of the modular launcher and chassis,” the portal notes.
At the same time, the North Korean designers, instead of one starting section, created an option with two, which brings it closer to fire capabilities to tracked jet systems of the M270/MLRS volley fire.
It is emphasized that this trend of development “clearly demonstrates that for the Korean defense industrial complex, the main models are the technology of the United States and European countries, which is visible from a similar concept implemented in new developments.”
DPRK weaponsAs it was reported, earlier in the DPRK presented a new hypersonic weapon – the starting unit Hwasong -11ma. In the new weaponry, KN-23 ballistic missile could be combined with a hypersonic planning unit.
Analysts noted the similarity between the Hwasong-11ma and the Russian “Iskander-M”: both systems have almost the same design of the tail part of the rocket and a similar concept of the starting installation.
KN-23 is one of the weapons that the country has supplied the Russian Federation for war against Ukraine.
