The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine named the best young athletes in 2024. 
Anna Maksymenko – world champion among cadets, European champion among cadets and juniors – was recognized as the “best young athlete of 2024”.
The winner in the nomination “The best young athlete of 2024” was Yehor Yakushenko, the world and European champion in Greco-Roman wrestling among young men under 20 years old in the weight category up to 97 kilograms.
Their mentors, Andrii Orlikovskyi and Mykola Yelarinov, respectively, were recognized as “The best coaches of young athletes of 2024”.
The award ceremony is scheduled for December 23.
