Sean Leiden cited as an example of pandemic times.

In an interview with Hiphopgamer, he emphasized that Nintendo approach is based on a clear focus: “If something works – not lame. Nintendo intentionally chose its track and remains on it. They know who their fans and what they want.”
According to Leiden, it is this commitment to his own course that keeps the company afloat:
“No company is in such contact with the audience as Nintendo. Even Playstation has never been so close to its fans.”
He explained that during the Lockdow, many publishers began to hire employees massively, hoping that an increase in interest in games would be endless. But after removing the restrictions, the players returned to the usual life, and this led to a fall in demand and a wave of dismissal.
Nintendo, according to Leiden, understood this dynamics in advance and continued to move according to her plan, avoiding sharp jumps and subsequent downs.
Earlier, Sean Leiden stated that the developers had reached technological peak. Next, you should only simplify and cheaper consoles, says Leiden.
