On Saturday, January 11, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote in his Telegram about the possibility of the continuation of martial law in the country.

At the beginning of next week, we expect a vote on the extension of martial law and general mobilization for 90 days

He added that martial law and mobilization will continue from February 8 to May 9, 2025.

According to the procedure, the president must submit two relevant draft laws on the approval of his decrees. According to Zheleznyak, the documents will most likely appear on Monday.

“This will be the 14th time that the Rada will vote for the continuation of martial law and mobilization,” Yaroslav Zheleznyak summarized.
