An analysis of purchases in the Prozorro system showed that New Year’s gifts for the military rarely include sweets. Instead, they most often buy plaques, flags, knives, thermal mugs, watches, awards, commemorative coins and t-shirts, including gift ones – at a price of about 1,000 hryvnias per unit, which is several times higher than the price of ordinary soldiers’ shirts.
The Main Administration of the Ministry of Defense was surprised, which ordered 25 t-shirts with its logo in the color “dark olive” for UAH 1,027/pc. It is very expensive compared to soldier t-shirts. The state operator of the rear bought t-shirts with the logo of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for UAH 169/pc.
