The IMF credit program for the amount of about $ 16 billion expires in 2027, uncertainty about the duration of the war, will probably lead to discussion of the new plan during the review of the lender next month.
“If the basic scenario suggests that the war will continue next year, it is likely that we will have a new IMF program,” Sviridenko said.
During the August visit, the IMF will discuss economic and military scenarios, “to determine if the new program will be reasonable and what its probable parameters,” she added.
