The Netflix streaming service has released a trailer for the action-packed film “Apex” with the famous actress Charlize Theron in the lead role. This was reported by Deadline UNN.
Details The action of the movie “Peak” takes place in a remote Australian area. The film tells the story of a “woman experiencing personal tragedy” (Charlize Theron) who travels to a desert area, but becomes the victim of a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a murderous psychopath (Theron Egerton).
The director’s chair was occupied by Baltasar Kormakur, the author of the script – Jeremy Robbins. Australian actor Eric Bana also got a significant role in this project.
It is emphasized that in May of this year, Theron shared memories of the damage to her finger, which she received during the shooting process of the thriller.
According to her, she performed “certain stunts and action scenes without thinking,” adding that the thriller gave her the opportunity to “exceed the stunts I did in The Old Guard 2.”
The world premiere of “Peaks” will take place on the Netflix platform – April 24, 2026.
