At around 10:00 a.m. on January 14, in the village of Rudno near Lviv, the driver of a Volkswagen Passat fired several shots at a minibus of military personnel of the Central Committee of the Central Committee and the SP, who were carrying out warning measures. No one was injured, the driver who fired the shot fled the scene, the police inform.

Investigators of the Lviv District Police Department have started criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for deprivation of liberty for a period of three to seven years.

The police are establishing a location to arrest the man who shot.

Earlier, on January 11, in the Shevchenkiv district of Lviv, a 46-year-old local resident injured a 47-year-old soldier from the Halytsia-Frankivsk ORTCC and SP, who was on duty.

According to the Lviv Prosecutor’s Office, after the crime, the man got into his minibus and fled. The wounded serviceman was taken to the hospital. The police detained the attacker. He was informed of the suspicion of violence against an official performing a public duty (Part 3 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides imprisonment for a term of five to 12 years.

After the start of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, martial law was introduced and general mobilization was announced. It is carried out by territorial centers of recruitment and social support.
