NBU exchange rate for Wednesday: the hryvnia is getting cheaper again

The NBU weakened the hryvnia / photo UNIANThe NBU weakened the hryvnia / photo UNIANOn Wednesday, March 6, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 38.39/dollar. Thus, the hryvnia weakened by 8 kopecks compared to today’s rate.

In relation to the euro, the national currency also fell in price. According to data on the regulator’s website, the official rate of the NBU for the euro on Wednesday is set at UAH 41.65/euro, i.e. the hryvnia has weakened by 11 kopecks compared to today’s rate.

On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 4:00 p.m., hryvnia to dollar quotations were set at the level of UAH 38.40/38.42/dollar, the euro at UAH 41.64/41.66/euro.

Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest newsIn the currency exchange offices of Kyiv, the dollar today fell by 3 kopecks – to 38.57 hryvnias/dollar on average (you can sell a dollar for 38.48 hryvnias). The exchange rate of the euro in cash today increased by 2 kopecks and is 41.98 UAH/euro (the selling rate is 41.83 UAH/euro).

The exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at “PrivatBank” on Tuesday, March 5, did not change and is UAH 38.60 per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro at the financial institution today increased by 5 kopecks – up to UAH 41.95 per euro.
