National Guards destroyed Russian S-300V SCR, which costs $ 40 million

Vlad Cherevko I have been interested in all kinds of electronics and technologies since 2004. I like to play computer games, and I understand the work of different gadgets. I regularly monitor the news of the technology in the world and write materials about it.

Thanks to Ukrainian soldiers, the Russian Armed Forces occurred another expensive loss. Servicemen of a separate detachment of special purpose “Lazar” of the 27th Pechersk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine was destroyed in the Zaporozhye direction by the enemy anti-aircraft missile complex C-300V. About it writes Telegram channel Butusov plus.

“The fighters of the Lazar” Lazar “of the 27th Pechersk Brigade of NSU in the Zaporizhzhya direction was destroyed by the S-300V SPR worth $ 40 million!”,-the message reads.

The operators of Ukrainian UAVs found a starting installation with two transport and public containers and attacked them. As a result of accurate blows, there was a powerful explosion of the IRC ammunition and the complex completely burned.

The C-300V is an anti-aircraft missile complex of the average radius, developed in the USSR in the 1970s and adopted in 1988. It is designed to protect military facilities from aircraft, winged and ballistic missiles. Each launcher has its own backlight radar, which allows autonomous combat work. The system is able to simultaneously affect several types of goals that fly up to 3000 m/s.

The complex uses 9m83 and 9m82 rockets with a range of up to 75 and 100 km, respectively, and all elements of the system are mounted on tracked chassis, which ensures high patency. The cost of one installation reaches about $ 40 million.

By the way, it has recently become known that the Ukrainian drone was struck by the radar of the newest Russian SPRC C-500 “Prometheus”.
