The spacecraft is planned to be launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The exact launch date will depend on the number of spacecraft in orbit and other circumstances.
As part of the fifth commercial mission, cosmonauts will spend two weeks on the ISS. Axiom Space is to submit four crew candidates to NASA. After approval, they will undergo special training.
The fourth commercial mission of Axiom-4 took place in the summer of 2025. It lasted 18 days. Then the Crew Dragon spacecraft was sent to the ISS. The crew included the former NASA astronaut Commander Peggy Whitson, the representative of India, the ship’s pilot Shubanshu Shukla, and mission specialists from Poland and Hungary, Slavosz Uznanski and Tibor Kapu.
