According to NASA, astronomers investigate exoplanet similar to Earth, which may contain water.
The exoplanet, called Trappist-1 E, is observed by the James Webb space telescope, the most powerful telescope ever run into space.
It is one of the seven The planet the size of the Earth rotating around the red dwarf Trappist-1 is of particular interest, since its distance from the sun can allow the temperature that theoretically makes water on the surface possible, the agency said.
However, this is only possible if the planet is available on the planet that scientists are trying to determine.
Astronomers sent a powerful Nirspec (Near-Infrared Spectrograph) telescope James Webba on the solar system when planet E was in front of her star. With each transit, the atmospheric components of the planet become clearer, researchers say.

“Webba infrared devices give us more details than we have ever accessed before, and the first four observations of the planet E, which we have been able to do, show us what we will have to work with when the rest of the information will come,” NASA said.
The astronomers are convinced that the planet does not have its primary – or original – atmosphere, since the star is “very active” with frequent flashes, NASA reports. Star radiation should disrupt any hydrogen-gel atmosphere with which the planet could form.
According to NASA, many planets, including the Earth, have created a difficult secondary atmosphere after the loss of primary, adding that there is the same probability that the atmosphere does not exist.
If the atmosphere really exists, it is unlikely that it consists mainly of carbon dioxide, although measurements do not exclude the presence of sufficient carbon dioxide to maintain a certain amount of water on the surface, researchers say.
However, no direct parallels with our solar system were observed.

“TRAPPIST-1 is a very different star from our sun, so the planet system around it is also very different, which calls on both our observant and theoretical assumptions,” said Nicole Lewis, Associate Professor of Cornel University Astronomy.
Any liquid water on Trappist-1 E will be accompanied by a greenhouse effect that will include various gases, especially carbon dioxide, which will maintain the stability of the atmosphere and the heat of the planet.
“The small greenhouse effect is of great importance,” said Lewis.
The conclusions were published in the Astrophysical Journal Letters.
