NABU handed over documents to Interpol for the search for fugitive People’s Deputy Odarchenko

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine sent materials to Interpol regarding the declaration of fugitive People’s Deputy Andrii Odarchenko as an international wanted man, who today was sentenced in absentia to 8 years in prison by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau for attempting to bribe the leadership of the Ministry of Reconstruction. This is reported by Suspilne with reference to sources, reports UNN.

“NABU has sent materials to Interpol that will allow Odarchenko to be placed on the international wanted list,” Suspilne reports.

The higher anti-corruption court sentenced MP Andrii Odarchenko to 8 years in absentia for attempting to bribe the leadership of the Ministry of Reconstruction.

In the case of attempted bribery of top officials in the field of recovery, the investigation was completed in April 2024.

The higher anti-corruption court arrested Odarchenko in absentia. Also, the court collected 15 million hryvnias of the deposit made for him.

In September, the Higher Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine declared Odarchenko a state and international wanted man.
