The leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, received the degree of Honorary Dr. Firat in Elazig in Turkey, reports Radio Liberty Crimea.
University of Pomrat was also visited by a Ukrainian delegation headed by Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Nariman Jalyalo.
The fact that Dzhemilev was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor, is also reported on his Facebook page.
The city of Elazig with a population of more than 330,000 people is located in the east of Turkey, is the administrative center of the province of Eastern Anatoly.
In December 2023, Dzhemilev received the degree of Honorary Doctor of Food and Agriculture of Turkish Kin.
