In particular, during the meeting, they considered a video of the investigative team with the story of friends of the dead teenager who were with him on a funicular.
After viewing, Kosov answered the prosecutor’s questions. In particular, he noted that he was traveling with a friend who was serving in the east of Ukraine. He made a remark to teens because they communicated loudly and thus interfered with the suspect with a friend.
“When we said that the children were more calm, I came to myself in response to the obscene. They do not want to talk about it, because it is not correct for them. At that time, I did not consider these teenagers young. They are not like them, ”Kosov said.
The suspect also noted that this video shows that there was just a conversation and there were no reasons and reasons for murder.
The expert who conducted a forensic examination was also questioned in court. The interrogation was conducted to establish additional circumstances. The next meeting will be resolved on the feasibility of appointing an additional comprehensive examination.
As a result of the meeting, the Prosecutor General noted that the case is underway.
“The prosecution party is satisfied with today’s meeting. Because almost five court sessions that were before this meeting were not held. Therefore, we go to the logical end, it is to satisfy the position of the prosecution – a lifelong punishment of the accused, ”Kravchenko said.
The next meeting will take place today, August 21. It plans to interrogate Kosovo.

The State Bureau of Investigation opened criminal proceedings because the participant of the conflict with the teenager served as a driver in the State Protection Department. Subsequently, the man was suspected of premeditated murder. The DBR also denied information that the suspect was their former employee. During the tragedy, he was not in the performance of his duties and was intoxicated.
On May 5, 2024, DBR employees completed a pre-trial investigation into the death of a 16-year-old student at a funicular station in Kiev, after which the case file was transferred to the defense party. On May 29, the indictment on the employee of the State Security Department Artem Kosovo was brought to court. During the investigation, the DBR investigators found that the murder of a minor was committed from hooligan motives, which was threatened with life imprisonment. The suspect did not admit his guilt.
The mother of teenager Irina Matukhina sought the help of the mayor of the capital Vitaliy Klitschko. The woman demands a fair sentence for the accused of killing her son, the UDO, Artem Kosovo driver, whose case, in her opinion, is artificially delayed.
