Mudryk was advised to be extremely careful because of the doping case

Sports lawyer Ilya Skoropashkin commented on the information that the winger of the Ukrainian national team Mykhailo Mudryk was allegedly spotted at the training base of the London “Chelsea”.

The 24-year-old Ukrainian is currently suspended from football due to allegations of using prohibited substances.

– Regarding the appearance of Mudryk at the base of “Chelsea”, one must be extremely careful here. The WADA Code prohibits any participation in club activities while ineligible, violation of which may result in adverse consequences.

– They are talking about sample “A” and sample “B” – does this mean that there were more than one cases when illegal substances were detected in him?

– When the media talk about “two positive tests”, it does not mean two separate cases or two violations. This is a standard procedure for taking material, which is immediately divided into two containers: sample “A” and sample “B”.

There were cases when they differed due to human error or a very small amount of a prohibited substance in the athlete’s body. In this case, sample “A” was confirmed by sample “B”, so we are talking about one violation, Skoropashkin said.
