“The enemy launched two missile and 39 air strikes, using six missiles and dropping 85 guided air bombs. He also used 1,960 kamikaze drones for strikes, carried out 3,049 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops,” the evening summary reads.
More than a third of the battles were recorded in the Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region.
“During the day, the enemy carried out 53 offensive actions in the Pokrovsky direction. The activity of the Russian occupiers was recorded near the settlements of Nikanorivka, Mayak, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Chervyn Liman, Novoeconomichne, Mykolaivka, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyarivka, Gorikhove and Dachne. “Four combat clashes continue until now,” the message stated.
Battles also continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slavyansk, Kostiantynivsk, Oleksandrivsk, Gulyaipilsk and Orichivsk directions.

Earlier, the General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces liberated 182.8 square kilometers on the territory of the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region, and another 230.1 square kilometers were cleared from the enemy’s DGR.
British intelligence has reiterated that Pokrovsk is likely to remain a priority for Russia, with the largest share of Russian attacks there compared to the rest of the front line.
On October 1, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that the Ukrainian military had cut off the so-called “Dobropilsky Protrusion” of Russian troops.
