The KIIS point out that trust rates improved slightly compared to the latest survey in December 2024, when 52%were trusted, 39%were not trusted, and the balance of confidence-unobtrusive was +13%.

For comparison, according to the KIIS survey in February 2022, that is, on the eve of a full-scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine, only 37% of respondents were trusted to President Zelensky, and 52% were not trusted. The CIPS Executive Director Anton Hrushetsky believes that President Zelensky retains a sufficiently high trust in society and, moreover, retains legitimacy.

“If individual international partners are experiencing the legitimacy of the president in the context of possible peaceful negotiations and consider it appropriate to insist in the elections, then from the point of view of Ukrainian citizens themselves there are no problems with this, the current president and the authorities are quite legitimate to conduct difficult negotiations, and the elections should be after the election Completion of the war and at least Ukraine’s receipt of reliable security guarantees, “he said.

Telephone interviews (CATI) (Cati), based on a random sample of mobile telephone numbers in all regions of Ukraine (controlled by the Government of Ukraine), were interviewed by a random sample of mobile telephone numbers in all regions of Ukraine (controlled by the Government of Ukraine).
