At least four people were killed in the Mississippi after severe thunderstorms and tornadoes that fell south on Saturday, the authorities said.
According to the Director of the Emergency Management of Royce McKi, three deaths occurred in the Waltoll County. Another person was killed in the southwest of Kovington district, according to a press release of emergency management. In both districts, several wounded are also reported.
Kovington County, Mississippi, suffered “significant destruction” when two tornados struck him, according to representatives of the district emergency department. Tornadoes knocked down trees and transmission lines, damaged “numerous” structures and injured several people.
