He said this in an exclusive interview with Ukrinform.
“Currently, there are more than 130 Ukrainian military personnel in the Netherlands, who have been sent for rehabilitation or treatment in agreement with the Ministry of Health. Ukrainian defenders are received by the best medical facilities throughout the country – university medical centers in Rotterdam, Maastricht, Leiden, Groningen, Utrecht, military rehabilitation center in Dorn, clinics and rehabilitation facilities in Zwolle, Amsterdam, The Hague. He also emphasized that special attention is paid not only to physical, but also to psychological recovery.
“Ukrainian military personnel have the opportunity to work with psychologists. Ukrainian military personnel who are recovering from operations are constantly invited to public events of the Embassy, charity concerts, exhibitions of Ukrainian artists, competitions with the participation of Ukrainian athletes. In this regard, I would like to express my sincere thanks to volunteer organizations, in particular the “NL4UA” foundation, and to all initiatives and volunteers who take care of our defenders in the Netherlands, provide them with transport, organize cultural leisure and promote in solving current organizational issues related to the arrival and adaptation to the new environment”, the ambassador emphasized.
