The “no fly” option was not even considered.

The famous singer told how he almost flew out of Ukraine / photo instagram.com/_igor_tselypUkrainian singer Ihor Tselyp told how his participation in a concert in Poland was almost canceled due to an unforeseen situation at the airport. The artist arrived in advance and was not late, but due to long queues at the document check, he did not make it to his flight.

According to the singer, at first everything went smoothly and without anxiety.

“Actually, I arrived at the airport in advance and was completely calm – everything went according to plan. But at some point, a huge queue formed at the document check: there were few employees, the process was very slow, and the queue almost did not move. At first you think: “Oh, nothing, they will speed up now”, and then you catch yourself thinking that time is running out, boarding is almost over, and you are still standing in the same place,” Tselyp said.

The artist admitted that the most difficult moment was when he saw the inscription “gate closed” on the scoreboard, although formally he was not late for the flight.

However, the singer was not going to refuse the trip.

“We very quickly found an alternative route – another flight, another city, longer layovers, almost no sleep. It was difficult both physically and mentally, but for me a charity concert is a responsibility to the people who were waiting. The option of not flying was not even considered,” he emphasized.

In the end, Ihor Tselyp still went on stage, and the concert itself, according to him, turned out to be particularly emotional.

“After such stress, going on stage felt completely different – as if you have already passed the test and now you just have to give everything you have. The most memorable thing was the reaction of people and the feeling that you did not give up,” the singer concluded.

We will remind, earlier UNIAN wrote how the Ukrainian singer Ihor Tselip was almost beaten for refusing to sing Russian songs.
