Details: Rechan noted that Kishinev did not ask Ukraine to help Transnistria with energy resources, but he would not object to it.

“We did not ask Kyiv for any help in this sense, but (we would agree) if Kyiv offered help… For example, it is possible to supply coal, if there is a request for this from the Transnistrian region, from the management of the power plant in Kuchurgan (in Transnistria)”, Dorin Rechan said.

It should be noted that the supply of gas appears to be a much better option than coal, as it will also allow boiler plants that operate on gas in Transnistrian cities to be launched.

Ukraine’s offer to help the unrecognized Transnistria in the conditions of the energy crisis, which began with the cessation of Russian gas supplies, may break the Kremlin’s plans to expose the president of Moldova, Maya Sanda, as the culprit of the humanitarian disaster in the region, and one of the leaders of the pro-Russian forces in Moldova as “the savior who agreed with Moscow “.

Such a scenario is indicated by the stubborn refusal of the leadership of the unrecognized region to accept assistance with the purchase of gas offered by Moldova – and the denial that these offers were made, and the expectation that the situation will be resolved in another way.

The success of this propaganda operation may depend on the outcome of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Moldova, which will be of great importance for the future and security of both Moldova and Ukraine.
