We strongly condemn the violation of Moldova’s airspace by Russia’s missiles and drones targeting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure today. Explosions near our border and sightings of low-flying drones over villages underscore the risks to our people from Russia’s brutal war. pic.twitter.com/WFa4OX46cr

Details: He also posted a video where you can hear the sound of rockets flying by.
Direct speech: “We strongly condemn the violation of Moldova’s airspace by Russian missiles and drones targeting critical infrastructure of Ukraine. Explosions near our border and drones flying low over our villages testify to the risks to our citizens caused by Russia’s brutal war.”
Details: The video previously released by the minister was published by the NordNews edition, clarifying that it was sent by a local resident of the village of Ruseny, Yedinet district. The sender claims that the rockets flew at low altitude and the sound was captured by surveillance cameras.
What preceded: The government Telegram channel Prima Sursă reported that several Russian drones may have violated the airspace of Moldova, but radars did not detect them because they were flying at a low altitude. The statement also said that “a missile was spotted on the Ukrainian side” in Larza, Brychan district.
Prehistory:
- On November 10, two drones were discovered in Moldova – in the Kaushan and Ryshkan districts. After that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova handed the Russian ambassador a note of protest.
- Later, on the outskirts of the village of Koshernytsia, Moldovan law enforcement officers discovered a third drone.
- The Moldovan authorities have previously reported on the discovered wreckage of drones after Russian air strikes against Ukraine.
