Christmas is associated with the ancient tradition of caroling / photo UNIANDecember is the warmest winter holiday, which is loved by adults and children. In particular, Orthodox Ukrainians celebrate Christmas December 25 by new style or December 7 according to the old calendar. Ukrainian carols remain one of its brightest traditions.
People have accumulated a lot of poems and songs on the Christmas theme, and over time there are only more of them. We figured out the history of carols and selected some beautiful songs and poems for you.
How Christmas carols appearedIn these ritual songs, they traditionally praise the birth of Christ and wish all the blessings, health and prosperity to the hosts they come to. In return, carolers receive sweet treats, various treats and money.
