According to the interlocutors of the editorial office, these devices contain “extremely sensitive correspondence with people who hold high positions in the state.”

According to the sources, this is what caused the sharp nervous tension of the person involved.

According to ZN.UA, Yakymets recently appeared for questioning as part of criminal proceedings.

In addition, he managed to visit abroad – in particular, he rested in Monaco – after which he returned to Ukraine.

What preceded:

  • Earlier ZN.UA reported that Yakymets was an “informal assistant” of the former head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Nazar Kholodnytskyi, but then, according to a ZN.UA source, Yakymets, with Bankova’s permission, was the contact person between businessman Ihor Kolomoiskyi and the leadership of the SBU. (Kolomoisky is in a pre-trial detention center – ed.).
  • According to ZN.UA, it was Yakimets who once brought businessman Gennady Bogolyubov to a meeting with the leadership of the SBU.
  • Also, according to the publication, the investigation received information on Yakymets’s phone, which was seized during searches of the business center, which became the basis for further procedural actions.
  • In addition, one of the NABU detectives who investigated the Yakymets case — Ruslan Magomedrasulov — was later detained by the SBU on suspicion of treason. After that, according to his statement, the special service got access to all the materials of the investigations he conducted, including the case of Yakymets.
