President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a telephone conversation with Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albenizi.
The Head of State thanked Australia and all the Australian people for their help, especially defense, and support for Ukrainians and Ukrainian women.
“Priority of Ukraine is a reliable security guarantee, strengthening our country and forcing Russia before the end of the war and establishing a just and prolonged peace,” the President said.
According to him, it is important to continue to press on Russia and Putin, in particular to strengthen sanctions, especially against the shadow tanker fleet, which enables the aggressor state to finance the war.
Volodymyr Zelensky and Anthony Albenizi discussed future contacts with partners, especially with the United States of America, and possible formats of cooperation with other leaders for joint pressure on the Russian Federation. Separately, the President emphasized that conducting any potential negotiations without Ukraine is dangerous for all.
During the conversation, they also discussed the acceleration of the supply of already announced support for support and continuation of defense assistance, direct investments in the Ukrainian defense industry and military-technical cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the fate of Australia citizen, the Oscar -Volunteer of Jenkins, whom Russia captured. The head of state noted that for its part, Ukraine is ready to make the necessary efforts to establish all circumstances.
