Migrant abduction for redemption: 4 Ukrainians were detained in Poland

Polish police detained four Ukrainians on suspicion of migrant abnormalities to extort redemption in Poland and Latvia.

Details: It is noted that all detainees were legally in Poland. The oldest woman is 40 years old, the youngest suspect is 20 years old.

According to unofficial information received by the Polish broadcaster, members of the gang were involved in the illegal transportation of migrants who entered the European Union through Belarus.

Polish militiamen learned about it in mid -June. Then the central investigative bureau from one of the humanities received information about the abduction of two Ethiopia citizens.

The report said that in Poland, people stolen by a gang, which requires redemption in cryptocurrency. The criminals threatened to kill the victims and sell their bodies. The report also had photos of nude, related men.

Law enforcement officers found that criminals, threatening with weapons, took away money and phones from men, and then took them to Lubin in the trunk of the car. The stolen family was required to pay the ransom.

The stolen men managed to escape. Witnesses noticed naked men in the city and handed them over to the border guards.

As militiamen noted, the suspects fled to Latvia, where three Malavians were abducted. Men were tied and closed in the trunk of the car. One of them was tied to a tree and cruelly beaten with a wooden stick. The video with torture was sent to his family along with redemption.

Polish police began to cooperate with Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian authorities. The abductors were installed.

Therefore, three people were detained at the end of June with the participation of anti-terrorist forces near the city of Ostv-Mazovets. The fourth was detained in the squash.

Currently, three of the four suspects are in custody.
