Striker and captain of the Argentina national team Lionel Messi has put PSG winger Ousmane Dembele first in his vote for the best footballer of 2025 according to the version of the International Football Federation (FIFA). Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe took second place, while Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal took third place.

In the end, it was Dembele who received The Best award from FIFA. Earlier, the Frenchman also won the Golden Ball.

The 28-year-old PSG player made 53 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 35 goals and providing 16 assists.
