Details: Medvedev reacted to the statement of the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, that relations with Russia have changed forever.
“Some guy named Stubb says that Finland’s relations with Russia have changed forever. I agree. I hope so too. I hope that Russia will never repeat the mistake of the Bolsheviks in 1917. Finland must pay for its disgusting Russophobia. In fact, it is already paying – Stubb says, and the citizens pay the bills,” – wrote a Russian official.
Last year, Medvedev stated that the countries that recently joined NATO automatically became a target for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation“including possible retaliatory strikes and even a nuclear component.”
Before that, the head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, said that the “provocateur countries” represented by Poland and the Baltic States should understand that will be the first to suffer as a result of possible NATO aggression against the Union State of Russia and Belarus.
