Vahanyan mentioned Svintsytskyi in the context of conducting probably ordered examinations while working in the Service.

In 2019, Svintsytsky headed the Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Examinations at the SBU.

He received this position after the appointment of Andriy Naumov to the SBU, with whom Svintsytskyi was familiar.

In 2024, after the creation of a new forensic examination center under the Ministry of Justice, Svintsytskyi was appointed its head.

The first expensive assets in the family of the official began to appear during his work in the SBU. So, in 2019, his wife became the owner of a 90-meter apartment in Kyiv, near the Obolonskaya Embankment.

At the end of 2021, the family also bought apartments in Turkey, and in 2022 – a fresh BMW X6.

After the appointment of Svintsytskyi as the head of the new expert center in 2024, his wife became the owner of two more apartments in a business-class residential complex in Kyiv – in the “Cardinal” and “French Quarter” complexes in Pechersk.

At the same time, if the official’s declaration for 2024 is to be believed, her income as an FOP amounted to about 600,000 hryvnias per year.

Svintsytsky himself explained to journalists that his wife used to earn significantly more.

The financial condition of other relatives of the head of NDTSNSE also improved.

His mother-in-law, Hanna Olefirenka, who worked as a village council specialist in Sumy Oblast with a salary of about 12,000 hryvnias per month, became the owner of a cottage in Uzhhorod in 2022.

Svintsytskyi’s mother, who previously worked as a cook in a correctional colony, bought an apartment in a new VIP-class building in Uzhgorod during the same period, and his father, who officially had no income, bought a new Toyota Land Cruiser in 2023.

At the same time, the official’s mother continues to live in the family apartment in Zhytomyr.

Svintsytsky himself now officially declares about 1.2 million hryvnias of income per year.

He explains the expensive assets registered for his wife and parents with income received for work in the public sector and savings.

The official claims that he knows nothing about the origin of the property of his wife’s relatives.

We will remind:

  • On January 19, it became known that NABU had registered a criminal case based on the facts of the possible receipt of bribes by former high-ranking officials of the SBU, information about which was spread in the media.
  • The basis for the case was the public statements of Ukrainian businessman Serhiy Vaganyan, voiced in an interview on the YouTube channel of former People’s Deputy Boryslav Bereza.
  • Vaganyan, who is currently abroad, told in his interview how the system of corruption charges in the SBU allegedly worked during the leadership of Ivan Bakanov and Andriy Naumov, who headed the Main Department of Internal Security of the SBU in 2019-2021.
