The star-studded South Africa series finally launched on Thursday night after it was postponed due to wildfires.
And kicking off her racy bombshell looks this season, Maya set pulses racing in the lace figure-hugging gown.
However, after Maya showcased her raunchy look, the presenter was forced to set the record straight on her ‘new teeth’.
Fans were quick to point out a change in Maya’s appearance, claiming she has had her teeth done.
Fans on X wrote: ‘Ahhh Maya what have you done with your teeth?’, ‘Maya got Turkey teeth – I loveeeeeeed her old teeth so much’.
In a now-deleted comment, Maya clapped back: ‘Girl I have not got Turkey teeth l’ve got braces (behind my teeth on the top and outside on the bottom)
‘I wasn’t mad at my lil crook but can never please em all, last season I was getting messages about them being bent.’
The term ‘Turkey teeth’ is commonly used to describe veneers that appear artificially white and unnatural.
It comes after she revealed that she has ‘no plans’ to leave Love Island despite hopes of launching an acting career in The Gentleman.
The show host admitted that an acting career has always ‘been in the back of her mind’ after she suffered from a failed attempt when she auditioned for Skins as a teenager.
Skins is a British teen drama television series that follows the lives of a group of teenagers in Bristol, England, through the two years of sixth form.
And as the third season of Love Island: All Stars gets underway, Maya revealed that she used to say, ‘You can get what you need out of a show in two years, and then you move on,’ in an interview with Variety.
With the continued success of Love Island though, she has confessed that she has no plans to leave.
She told the publication: ‘But with a show like Love Island, it just feels like it keeps growing and I’d be silly to leave now.
‘It’s not my whole life and it’s fun, so I think as long as I enjoy it, I’ll keep it up.’
Speaking of her audition for The Gentleman, she explained that she had to try out like everyone else.
She confessed that acting had been in the back of her mind, and she felt the show series was a ‘safe entrance point’.
