A match for the title of world chess champion is underway in Singapore, in which the reigning crown holder Ding Lizhen (China) and the winner of the challenger tournament Gukesh Dommaraju (India).

The second meeting between the rivals ended in a draw. We will remind you that the first game was won by the reigning world champion Lizhen. Thus, the score in the match is 1.5 — 0.5 in favor of Lizhen.

The match between Dommaraju and Lizhen is the first in 138 years in which two chess players from Asia take part. Prize fund — 2.5 million dollars.

The match has 14 games with classic time control of 120 minutes for the first 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game + 30 seconds for each move starting from the 41st. Games start at 11:00 a.m. Kyiv time.

If the winner is not found in the “main time”, 4 games will be played with 15+10 control (if necessary, 2 more batches of 10+5).
