In response to user complaints, the Odesa provider “Tenet” stated that a large number of simultaneous downloads of the game overloaded external trunk channels. This caused a noticeable slowdown in access to Internet resources and online services, including games and IPTV. The company stressed that it is working on a solution to the problem, together with trunk operators, in order to stabilize the situation.
Another large provider, Triolan, also confirmed the problem, noting that the decrease in Internet speed is observed throughout the country. According to the company, the reason is the increased load on the channels due to the mass download of STALKER 2.
The game itself was not spared either – users report long delays when loading STALKER 2, despite high Internet speeds. Server access issues are experienced on all platforms.
Fortunately, ISPs are already actively working on eliminating technical problems, so Ukrainians can hope for the restoration of stable network operation in the coming hours.
For gamers who haven’t had time to download the game, all that remains is patience and hope for a quick return of the usual Internet speed.
