In the Odessa port to improve logistics, they introduced the control system for the movement of freight vehicles by DOCPORT.
The system allows you to decorate the passes for drivers and transfer them in a convenient format – immediately to the messenger. This requires any device (Phone, tablet, laptop) with access to the Internet, the administration of seaports of Ukraine reported in the State Enterprise.
“The main purpose of Docport is to reduce the queues at the entrance to the port, minimize simple trucks, stabilize auto flow and make cargo processing more efficiently. The system allows you to store data on cargo, fleet, prepare documents for entry, control the queue and respond quickly to emergency situations – for example, in the case of breakage of transport. At the same time, the use of the DOCPORT system minimizes the use of paper carriers and reduce the volume of bureaucratic procedures during entry checks, ”the statement said.
- The Nikolaev port and not only. Business suggested five steps to restore safe maritime trade
- For the first time since the beginning of the Great War. Ukraine has resumed a ferrying with Georgia
- Blow on exporters. Business requires Ukrzaliznytsia to return the shortest routes to the ports of Odessa and the Black Sea
“Today, when ports work in war and high responsibility, we must ensure the speed and maximum controllability of all logistics processes. Docport allows us to minimize risks and improve the quality of service for all market participants. We consistently scale this decision in the key seaports of Ukraine: after Reni, Izmail and the Black Sea logical stage, Odesa became one of the most important logistics centers of the country, ”said Alexander Semirga.
Docport works through the “dosed arrival” mechanism: drivers are waiting for special sites where they can activate their passes. Thanks to this active passage to the port receives those machines that are actually ready to enter the territory. All information is stored in a single database, so driver and car need to be registered only once – this data will be available in all ports that are connected to the system (in the presence of contracts).
The system was fully developed by AMPU experts, it is free of charge for all market participants and open to connect other companies involved in the processing of goods.
Earlier it was reported that Poland intends to buy or rent a port in Odessa.
