Legendary 38-year-old Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic (ATP 4) made it to the 1/8 finals of the 2026 Australian Open.

Djokovic won Botika van de Zandshulp (Netherlands, ATP 75) in three sets and won his 400th Grand Slam victory.

Novak became the first tennis player in history to meet this bar. Next are Roger Federer (369), Serena Williams (367), Rafael Nadal (314) and Martina Navratilova (306).

Djokovic will play in the fourth round of the Australian Open for the 18th time, matching Roger Federer’s record, and for the 70th time at the Slams, surpassing Federer’s record (69).

Novak’s next opponent will be 16th-seeded Jakub Menšík (Czech Republic, ATP 17).
