The most positive attitude among Ukrainians is the President of France Emmanuel Macron: it is supported by 80.5% of respondents, and only 14.2% were negative, which gives the balance 66.3.
The second place was taken by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyen with a balance sheet 56.4.
High in Italy’s premiere George Meloni (52.7) and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz (46.5). Among other European politicians, Ukrainians are positively appreciated by British Prime Minister Kira Starmer (29.8) and the premiere of Poland Donald Tusk (28.7).
Turkish President Recep Erdogan received 57.9% of positive and 28.8% of negative estimates, balance – 29.1. Among the American figures, Kit Kelloggi has a balance of 25.1 and Steve Witcoff is -10.7. US President Donald Trump received 28.7% of positive and 63.3% of negative estimates, balance –34.6.
The least popular among Ukrainians were the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzo (-35,9) and the Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orban (-73.8). Even lower performance among authoritarian regimes: China’s head Xi Jinping (-76.8), Alexander Lukashenko (-84.4) and Vladimir Putin, who became an absolute outsider with a balance of -95.7.
The survey was conducted by the Sociological Service of the Razumkov Center from September 12 to September 17, 2025, among 1210 respondents from the age of 18. The theoretical sample error does not exceed 2.9%.
