– Indeed, this pope has emerged from nowhere. There is such an opinion that American expansion comes on all fronts – economic, environmental, spiritual. And this suggests that European Christianity loses its position and leadership in the Christian world, goes to other continents. In particular, in Latin America, now in the northern one. And I will not be surprised if the next Pope is a native of Asia, and maybe from Africa.
And the new Pope Leo XIV is also mixed in the ethnic sense: it has French, Italian, Spanish blood. That is, it is pro -European in origin, although it is absolutely an American brain. For American society, such a mixture of blood, cultures, as a completely normal. Pope Lion has all the languages ​​of his ancestors. That is, he is a very educated Pope.

– Do you think Trump will try to bring him somehow under himself?

– Undoubtedly, he immediately made a statement – he congratulated and stated that the American was very proud. Because all this works on his theory or on his slogan “Let’s make America big again.” It is clear that he to try to use the new Pope in his own interests, he simply has not yet decided what his interests, except geopolitical domination. But Trump is missed by everything that can be. But not the fact that he will succeed in the pontiff. Maximum – they will find a common language.

– But how can they cooperate if Trump is an extreme conservative, and Pope Leo is a liberal, how are they written about him?

– Well, he is not quite a liberal, but brought up in such a democratic and liberal country, which is the United States. In addition, Trump could not ignore, for example, on the same Francis, whom he probably did not like because of his Latin American origin. Well, now there is nothing to be offended by this pope, because he is his own compatriot.

The new Pope will be more actively trying to end the war in Ukraine – Do you think the new Pope is a pragmatist or idealist, as his predecessor Francis?

– No, the absolute pragmatist, a rationalist, he is a mathematician, has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, and exact sciences orienteer people to think in accordance with laws and rules. His brain is completely logical, and he thinks in accordance with the Vatican diplomacy. That the church, wherever possible, must have its centers of influence, its agents of influence. I do not want to say that the Pope will ignore the presidents or premieres, but the church consciousness is a little different. They think other categories of higherness, eternity, supernatural.

– What will be the attitude of Pope Leo XIV to Ukraine and what can he offer for peace in our country?

– As a pragmatist, he wants the war to end because the church suffers from these constant clashes. And this is not only Ukraine is such a dangerous point where there is no rest. He is not less interested in, say, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, or the Pakistan-Indian conflict, or this is the Taiwano-Chinese conflict. Because the church develops well when there are no international conflicts. Therefore, he will work in this direction, because he is undoubtedly intellectually and strategically advanced than his predecessor – Francis.

– Will he continue Francis’ policies in general?

– In general, yes. Its main task now is not to sink a ship called the Roman Catholic Church, but on the contrary, to bring it to the wide horizons. He has, without a doubt, plans to solve problems in all areas of the church. Much will depend on whom he will bring with him to his team, how well the cardinals will be in one team. And there are very productive and effective cardinals, such as dzuppi or steamerine.

The church can attract a si in its activity – What are the reforms of the Church to expect from it in the near future?

-First of all, we must still bring the administrative reform of management. To think that this church management system is effective. In addition, artificial intelligence (AI) has now appeared, and it can also be used in church activities.

Well, we will need to fight the threat of deregionization of the world, that is, we see how the world is atheized, especially the same Europe. There are already countries with unbelievers of about 50%. That is, Europe needs to be returned to Catholicism. And it will be very difficult, because it was previously gathered by the people on the square, gave all the blessings – and people ran to fulfill the instructions of the church. And now the people need to be chewed, prove, arguments to make it rationally perceive these ideas.

– What can the name of the lion mean, what did he take it, what does it matter?

– This shows that he is a supporter and successor of traditions. The name “lion” was carried by almost the largest number of popes. In addition, the current pontiff wants to show himself as a follower of Pope Leo XIII, who ruled in the late XIX – early XX century and who paid a lot of attention to social issues. It was at him that the church opened to society and came to the conclusion that it was necessary from such a narrow corporation to the church of the majority.
