In 2024, among the regions with the highest rates of registration of electric cars, the Lviv region will lead, where 7,314 cars were registered, of which 91% were used. In second place is the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, with 6,618 registered electric cars, of which 61% are cars with mileage. Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region and Odesa region also entered the top five in terms of the number of electric cars – 3,907 (70% used), 3,874 (73% used) and 3,025 (76% used), respectively. Among the new electric cars, the Volkswagen ID.4 is in the greatest demand, the popularity of which is explained by its technical characteristics and versatility. In the segment of used cars, Tesla Model Y remains a favorite in Kyiv, Kyiv region and Dnipropetrovsk region. Instead, the Nissan Leaf is the most popular model in Lviv and Odesa regions.
