The court of Minsk district will soon begin. This is the seventh case under this article from the moment of its introduction into the Criminal Code, which has come to court.
As it became known to the Vyasny human rights activists, Nina Baginsk was brought to administrative responsibility three times during 2024. 24.23 (unauthorized picket). The total amount of fines amounted to 7 200 rubles (180 basic values). In addition, it has five more protocols.
Baginsk was detained several times, kept in the police department in handcuffs, fined. In addition, employees prevent her from home for important dates, such as Will, May 9, and more. The activist did not fundamentally go to her courts.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated against Baginsk. In Belarus under Art. 342-2 of the Criminal Code only six people were sentenced. This article was introduced into the Criminal Code of 2021 as a response of the regime to protest activity of society. To initiate a criminal case under Art. 342-2 of the Criminal Code is sufficient twice within one year to be subjected to administrative penalties for committing administrative offenses.
During the criminal investigation, the woman was taken several times for psychiatric examination.
