The speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine George Tykhy reacted sharply to the words of the Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, who offended President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
In his post on the social network “X”, the quiet called Lukashenko “Targan” and emphasized that such statements are unacceptable, especially from a person who is an accomplice to aggression against Ukraine.
“Images of the head of the Ukrainian state are inadmissible, especially from the accomplice of the crime of aggression against Ukraine. In addition, the transition to the sphere of entomology will not benefit the cockroach, ”he wrote in Belarusian.
This comment was a response to the statement of Lukashenko, who previously called Zelensky “nits” and added that the President of Ukraine was “like a son”. The quiet also published a link to the news where this insult was quoted.
Such a sharp tone of the Belarusian dictator has caused indignation in Ukrainian society, because his words look like another propaganda occasion against Ukraine.
The post of George Tykhogo contains an allusion to the popular Belarusian protest slogan “Stop Cockroaches!”, Which became a symbol of the fight against Lukashenko’s regime. This statement appeared in May 2020 thanks to Lyudmila Boreiko, who interviewed blogger Sergei Tikhanovsky – now political prisoners.

The words of the quiet also focus on the role of Lukashenko as Putin’s ally in the war against Ukraine. At the same time, Lukashenko himself continues to show disdain for international law and human values.
