Coach of the Romanian national team Mircea Lucescuknown to Ukrainian fans for his work at Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv, has commented on his health for the first time since he was hospitalized for heart problems:
“I didn’t go to Antalya because I wasn’t feeling very well, that’s all. I’m waiting for the guys to come back, and then I’ll go where I need to go. Everything is as clear as possible.”
In March, the Romanian national team will take part in the World Cup qualifiers. Turkey will be the opponent of Lucescu’s team in the semi-finals, and in case of reaching the finals, the Romanians will have to fight with the winner of the Slovakia-Kosovo pair.
