Lubny in Poltava Region was left without electricity and water due to an accident at the power line

On Tuesday, November 11, there was an accident on the power line in the Lubensk community of the Poltava region, as a result of which the city was completely left without electricity and water supply. On Tuesday, November 11, an accident occurred on the power line in the Lubensk community of the Poltava region, as a result of which the city was completely left without electricity and water supply.

This was reported by Poltava OVA.

Specialists of energy services are already working on localization and liquidation of the accident. According to the authorities, voltage fluctuations were also recorded in neighboring communities of the district.

Approximate time of restoration of electricity supply — around 10:00 p.m. Energy experts ask residents to be understanding, as the time of work may change depending on the extent of the damage.

Lubny is a city in central Ukraine, the administrative center of the district of the same name, the population of which as of 2022 was approximately 44,089 people.

In Ukraine on Wednesday, November 12, there will be from 2 to 4 scheduled power outages throughout the day.

Due to the increase in electricity consumption and shortages in the power system, on November 11, emergency shutdown schedules were introduced in several regions of Ukraine.

Blackouts in Ukraine will last for several weeks after the massive Russian attack on the night of November 7-8, as Centernergo lost all its generation.
