Lithuania handed over another aid package to Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Lithuania announced a new batch of aid delivered to Ukraine this week. The Ministry of Defense of Lithuania announced a new batch of aid delivered to Ukraine this week.

As stated in the department’s post on the X social network (Twitter), the aid included generators, spare parts for M113 armored personnel carriers, weapons and ammunition.

Lithuania plans to continue supporting Ukraine in 2025. This will include:

  • Lethal and non-lethal care.
  • Contributions to international funds.
  • Training and rehabilitation of Ukrainian servicemen.
  • Expert consultations.

The country will also participate in financing the demining coalition and join the Czech munitions initiative.

In addition, Lithuania plans to purchase drones and anti-drone equipment from manufacturers, strengthening its contribution to the security of Ukraine.

Earlier it became known that Lithuania will finance the production of Ukrainian long-range weapons. The country agreed on the first tranche of 10 million euros.

Lithuania previously supplied M113 armored personnel carriers to the Armed Forces, they are already fighting at the front.
