NV Food has collected a selection of Lviv establishments that have recently opened in the city and have already been liked by residents and guests.

We offer the Top 10 new food establishments in Lviv that opened in the second half of 2024. They add variety to the gastronomic environment of the city and satisfy the tastes of both locals and guests.

1. Laghman Bar

Oleksandr Boim opened Lagman Bar in September, a project with Crimean Tatar cuisine. Here you can try a variety of authentic dishes: lagman (broth with pieces of tender meat), samsa with an appetizing cheese filling, served with ayran and much more.

2. Cafe Homin

The first institution was opened this summer in the very center of the city on Rynok Square, the second on Lemkivskyi Street in October. Cafes belong to the !Fest holding of emotions. The concept of establishments is comfort food and soulful conversations. The menu is simple and balanced daily dishes and interesting culinary interpretations. Here you can find snacks, salads, first and main dishes, desserts, and breakfast is prepared all day. 3. Uglyancha street food

Andriy Niemets, a volunteer and owner of Boykivska Gostyna, the only Carpathian cuisine restaurant in Lviv, opened a new street food restaurant, Vuglyancha, in August. “Ligantsi, knyshi, pies, meat on the fire and other traditional Boyki dishes are what are already waiting for your order in Uglyancha”, – noted in a post on the institution’s Instagram page. The name of the establishment was given in honor of an authentic Boyki dish – ugalyancha (homemade bread).

4. Restaurant Budzzini

Vasyl Bundz, the owner of Gazda Cafe and Budzzini in the center of Lviv and near the city’s main train station, opened another establishment of the same name on Shevchenko Street a few months ago. The new location surprises with an exquisite interior. In general, all Budzzini restaurants have a wide selection of pizzas for every taste.

5. Vegetarian institution Lon

Also in Lviv, the vegetarian restaurant Lon recently started working. Its original concept lies in the fact that the classic restaurant menu with Caesar salad, etc. has been reformatted for a vegetarian one. 6. Rakovarnia Khmelna Odesa

8. Restaurant Lehaim

This is a new establishment of Jewish cuisine in Lviv from Alex Cooper, a well-known restaurateur. This is a so-called quiet and cozy place for your loved ones. Here there are no clear roles of a waiter, bartender, hostess or administrator – there is a host. A stylish accent in the interior of the establishment and exquisite tableware create a particularly unique atmosphere. They plan to hold literary evenings here and serve books. The menu includes legendary dishes of Odesa cuisine, meze and desserts. Also pickles, butters, labneh (traditional cream cheese of Middle Eastern cuisine), pate, forshmak, hummus, falafel, Olivier spoon, and also signature latkes (Jewish deruns). For lunch, you can order Kyiv-style cutlet and mashed potatoes, buckwheat with cutlet, signature borscht, etc. Drinks include branded and classic chasers, strong alcohol, wine, beer, lemonade and coffee.

10. Cafe Chichka

Here you can taste fresh bread and drink fragrant coffee or Carpathian tea served in Kosovan ceramics.
