Kyivstar withdraws money from the client’s account for television, which she does not use – the operator explained the reason.

The user was surprised by the presence of a connected Kyivstar TV service, for the use of which the operator keeps money.

The user started receiving a notification on his mobile phone about withholding money for Kyivstar TV. However, she did not know about the activation of this option. The client posted the relevant feedback on October 31 under the company’s post.

According to her, the phone received a message about the withholding of funds for the Kyivstar TV service. However, she did not use it.

“Kyivstar TV for some reason received a notification about the withholding of money, did I only find out after 3 years that I also had an offer, because I did not know until then and the payment was not charged”, – the user wonders.

Kyivstar’s answer Kyivstar responded to the woman’s feedback. They note that the payment may not have been charged due to the fact that you did not deposit funds into the account in advance, but replenished it at a time when your tariff was already inactive.

“Previously, payment could not be charged due to the fact that you did not deposit funds into the account in advance, but topped it up at a time when your tariff was already inactive, in this case, the money is withdrawn immediately for the tariff, but now at the time of topping up the account, the tariff plan was still active, thus, payments begin to be withdrawn for paid services that are activated on the account. If you have any questions, you can always contact us in private messages”, Kyivstar replied.

How is payment for the Kyivstar TV service withheld? If you are a subscriber of Kyivstar prepaid communication, payment will be charged every month — on the same day when the previous payment was charged. If you do not have enough funds in your account at the time of payment, a daily fee will be charged for the service. If you are a contract subscriber, the payment will be charged daily in equal parts. If you have home internet from Kyivstar:

• Payment for the service is charged on the 1st of each month in full.
• In the first month of Kyivstar TV activation, payment is charged for the number of days remaining until the end of the month.
• If the home Internet was temporarily suspended on the first day of the month, when the service is restored during the month, the payment for the activated Kyivstar TV package will be canceled immediately for the entire month.

If Kyivstar TV is activated as a Superpower, no separate payment is charged for it. Superpower is included in your rate.
