Kyiv police have identified four more participants in scandalous videos with minors in the center of the capital, the law enforcement press service reported on January 14.

“Investigators have also started criminal proceedings under Article 338 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – insulting state symbols. It is about the photo used in the video, where probably one of the members of the group of minors stepped on the national flag of Ukraine,” the message states.

In social media publications, young men listened to Russian music, displayed weapons, stepped on the flag of Ukraine and committed a number of other provocative actions.

Earlier, the police informed that they conducted searches at the residence of two minors who appeared in the scandalous videos, as a result of which they seized weapons, ammunition, an airsoft grenade, brass knuckles, a knife, as well as computer equipment and mobile phones.

According to the police, six residents of the capital aged between 14 and 17 appeared in the video.

On January 11, several videos were shared on social networks in which young men obstruct traffic in the city center, throw dollar bills out of a car onto Khreshchatyk Street, and sing the song “I’m Russian.”

According to the media, the video features the children of Ukrainian businessmen and politicians, including a deputy from the banned “OPZZH”.

Currently, law enforcement officials have not released the names of those identified as participants in the scandalous videos.
